The once western conference finalists have lost three straight and have dropped to 12th in the West. The Dallas Stars have had an inconsistent season and its been showing. Due to Sean Avery getting suspended, the poor play of Marty Turco, Brenden Morrow's season ending injury, and an overall poor season by a good team the Stars are falling out of the Stanley Cup Playoff range.
Brad Richards used to be a premier player but right now has only played 56 games in the 2008-2009 season. Compare that to his second lowest game total in a season 74.
This has been a very frustrating season for a franchise that has only missed the playoffs twice in franchise history.
